How to Recover Deleted iMessages on iPhone

Step 1. Run the software and connect your iPhone to computer

For iPhone 5s/5/4S user, you can directly click "Start Scan" to scan your iPhone.

Step 2. Preview and restore deleted iMessages from iPhone

When the Scan is over, all found data are displayed in categories as below, choose "Messages" and "Message Attachments". Solution 2: Recover Deleted iMessages from iTunes Backup

Before you do this, make sure that you've already had iTunes backup files on your computer. Then move on.

Step 1. Extract iTunes backup file

After you launched the iPhone Data Recovery software and switched to "Recover from iTunes Backup File", all backup files of your device type will be displayed and listed automatically as below. Now, you should choose the one of your iPhone and click "Start Scan" to begin extracting backup file.

Step 2. Preview & restore iPhone iMessage

The extraction will take you a few seconds. After it, all the content contained in the backup file will be extracted and displayed in categories. You can view the iMessage history in the category of Messages on the left side of the window. If you want to preview attachments, choose the category of Message Attachments. Solution 3: Recover Deleted iMessages from iCloud Backup Files

Step 1. Sign your iCloud account

After you run the iPhone Data Recovery software and choose "Recover from iCloud Backup File", you should sign in your iCloud account.

Step 2. Download and export your iCloud backup

After you entering the program, all the backup files of your iCloud backup account will listed automatically. Choose the data you need to restore with the "Download" button.

Step 3. Preview & retrieve iMessages from iCloud

When the scan is over, all found data are displayed in categories. You can preview all of the content, such as messages, contacts, photos, notes, videos. If you only want to recover message attachments from your iMessage, select "Messages Attachments" for recovery. However, you can choose any data you want to restore and click "Recover" button to save them on your computer.
